The Process
Small electrode clips are attached to the acupuncture needles which introduces gentle electrical pulses.
The electrical stimulation is thought to enhance the therapeutic effect of acupuncture by providing additional stimulation to the acupuncture points. This produces a mild, tingling, pulsing sensation that can be quite soothing.
Based on your condition, the frequency and intensity of the electro-acupuncture stimulation can be manually adjusted by your Practitioner.
